It didnt have a yellow "!", instead it had a tiny question mark and it didn't show it as an opened category like it does when you have a yellow "!" icon.Right click, update, automatic search, instantly working.This allowed me to fix the OTHER problem I had, which was that I was using a Static IP of 192.168.0.195 which wasnt working properly and the device was instead creating its own network of 169.254.xxx.xx. Not the one in "Cameras", but the one in "Sound, Video & Game Controllers".Except my one wasn't in that folder, it was in "Other Devices". It reminds me of Behringer products which to this day I refuse to use.I've been having this problem for a long time with my ATEM Mini Extreme Pro ISO and I just fixed it.Gary Adams' post was what started me thinking in the right way, along with using a 2nd computer to try and connect to it.So the problem for me was that ONE of the Blackmagic Design devices in the Device Manager needed a driver update. Their quality control however leaves much to be desired. Now I have to be on the watch for bad connectors.I am really trying to like BMD products because the products are easy to use and the workflow is great. I went through 3 ATEM Mini Pro's before getting one that worked properly.
Yay, Bitfocus Companion & Justmacros work perfectly again.BUT at least I know now what the problem was all along.If you ever have the network problem and you're using a Static IP, and you need to keep it static, reboot all the routers/switches and flip your ATEM to a different number, then back again. 240 so I changed mine to 192.168.0.240 (with a 2nd computer, before I fixed the USB issue) - and that fixed my network control issue. Beginning of an IP it means it's not connecting right to the network for some reason.So I called Blackmagic Support US and someone there told me that the default IP for these ATEM's ends with.
